Italian MedFilm Fest to take in ‘Inhale’

Iranian short film ‘Inhale’ has been scheduled to screen at the MedFilm Festival in Italy.

The 19-minute short, directed by Naser Zamiri will join competition at the 26th edition of the Italian fest.

A tagline for the flick, which is about the issues young couples face, reads, “Ebrahim's recurring insomnia has caused tension between him and his wife, Marziyeh,”

 ‘Inhale’ has already been screened at the Iranian short film festival, the Busan International Short Film Festival in South Korea and the Huesca Int’l Film Festival in Spain.

Established in 1995, the MedFilm Festival is the only festival in Italy dedicated to promoting the circulation of European and Mediterranean Cinema.

It seeks to raise young people’s awareness and understanding of social-cultural issues.

The 2020 edition of the event will be held on November 9-15.
